Tessa Thompson
Tessa Lynn Thompson, an actress and singer-songwriter who hails from Los Angeles was born in 1983. She is the daughter great-granddaughter of the musician Marc Anthony Thompson, as in addition to actor Bobby Ramos. Thompson was born in Los Angeles and raised there before moving to Brooklyn. Her father is of Afro-Panamanian family and her mother is from Mexican as well as British Isles heritage. Thompson participated in numerous productions during her time at Santa Monica High School. Thompson enrolled at Santa Monica College after graduation and was awarded a cultural Anthropology degree. She performed as Juliet in Shakespeare's play "Romeo and Juliet" in a production held at the Boston Court Theatre in Pasadena, California. The show was nominated for an NAACP Theatre Award in the same season. Tessa was first on television in 2005. Her role was in the lead in a CBS Series.
