Srushti deshmukh who is in her third year of engineering, has already begun preparation for UPSC. After her graduation she began to question whether or not she would find satisfaction in a engineer position. In the end, she realized that civil services was her passion and decided to pursue the field. Her parents encouraged her to prepare for civil service and to make a career serving the public. She was motivated and determined to become the IAS officer. To be able to pass UPSC takes more work. She was preparing for UPSC topics while studying her engineering. Each day she allocated time for exam preparation. She mastered the engineering exams in just one and a half months and stayed away from social activities. She believes that being focused only on the work at hand is essential to pass the exam. Her efforts were arduous to attain her dream of passing the test at first try.
